A direct translation of this song could be: "May this medicine heal me, it is the medicine of everything. We are all God." When I sing this song, I am giving thanks to Everything.... every breath, every human interaction (be it challenging or easesful)... everything as it is, recognizing that I can evolve and 'heal' only by starting right here, right now in the reality in which I find myself. To be able to see the divinity in all around me (dios somos todos) could perhaps be the strongest medicine I can choose to take. This is sometimes very challenging for me, and this song has brought me clarity and healing on many levels. I sing this song often, and I sing to re-Member.

In the West we often think of medicine as something we take when we are sick. In Ayurveda and other traditions, medicine can also be something that we take to keep us healthy and in balance. Sometimes I use the term 'medicine' to refer to something that is helping me heal, and sometimes I use it as something that is keeping me healthy. Singing and dancing do both of these things for me and are two of the strongest medicines I have come across.
